ThunderClan Camp

The camp entrance is well hidden by brambles, which protect the camp from predators, but doesn't stop sunshine from coming in. A ravine leads through it. This ravine was once a river, but it is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The nursery has thick bramble walls and is the most guarded part of the camp. Behind a tree stump, there is a clump of ferns where the apprentices sleep. Warriors sleep under a bush in another tunnel. Inside the camp, there is a fallen tree where the elders sleep. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches.The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance.The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the Medicine Cat's den.

Ashstar emerged out of the Leaders' den, quietly stretching her tired limbs. No-one seems to be here... Let's just wait. They're probably sleeping! she thought, glancing between dens. She poked her head into the Apprentices' den, looking for her apprentice, Primrosepaw. "Wakey-wakey! Time for a patrol, Primrosepaw!" said Ashstar in an encouraging voice.

*Primrosepaw was running through the woods. Birds chirped above her head as she followed the scent of a mouse. "I can almost taste it!" She thought, her mouth starting to water. Then she spotted it. In between the roots of an oak tree sat the fattest brown mouse ever! It carelessly nibbled on a nut, unaware of the cat's presence. "I got you now!" Primrosepaw crouched down, silently placing one paw ahead of the other. She was just about to leap when she heard a voice. "Wakey-wakey! Time for patrol Primrosepaw!" The apprentice watched as the forests began to blur.*

Primrosepaw opened her eyes to find that she was in the Apprentice den. She lifted up her head and saw her mentor, Ashstar. "Oh, Hello *Yawns* Ashstar! Said the Apprentice. She sat up and stretched, shaking her white and ginger fur.

Ashstar flicked her tail at the apprentice. "We need to go on patrol!" she paused, letting out a small yawn. "Where do you wanna go?" She sat down, looking at her apprentice with a friendly smile.

Primrosepaw padded to the entrance of the Apprentice Den. "Hmm...What about the Sunningrocks?" She suggested, sweetly. The Apprentice groomed out the few pieces of moss stuck to her fur. "We can never be too sure about Riverclan." Primrosepaw told her mentor.

Scarletfire yawned and stretched out on her back in the warriors den. Rising to her paws, Scarletfire shook out her fur to try wake herself up and padded out of the den into the cool, fresh morning air. Blinking the blurriness out of her eyes, Scarletfire noticed Ashstar's head in the apprentices den. Smiling to herself, Scarletfire sat herself down just outside the warriors den and started to clean herself, wondering if Ashstar would need her for anything.

Ashstar nodded. "Sunningrocks it is." The female turned to Hazelwind and Scarletfire. "You two can come if you like!"
Sunningrocks

Primrosepaw bounded after Ashstar. Finally starting to loose the sleepiness. "I hope I can catch something there!" She thought, licking her lips. "I know it's the Dawn patrol, but I still want to hunt." Primrosepaw kept pace with Ashstar as she hurried towards the camp entrance and towards the Sunningrocks.

Scarletfire nodded to Hazelwind as the warrior padded past. All seemed calm in camp and at Ashstar's offer to to go in patrol, she jumped to her feet and waved her tail. "Sure I'll come." She meowed and headed towards the camp entrance. She glanced back to see if Hazelwind was coming but twitched her ears and headed off after her leader and the apprentice.
